Lecture Series Starting October 4th: THE HOLOCAUST ACROSS DISCIPLINES: Department of Jewish Studies Lecture Series 2018
"ASPERGER’S NAZI SCIENCE: A CONVERSATION BETWEEN HERWIG CZECH AND EDITH SHEFFER HERWIG CZECH" will feature presentations by Herwig Czech, the researcher who discovered Dr. Asperger's case notes and experiments in the Vienna Med School archives and Edith Sheffer, recently reviewed on the front page of the NYT Sunday book review for her book, Asperger's Children. After their presentations, Venise Wagner, professor of Journalism, will moderate an audience discussion and conversation with these two scholars. It will be the first time they will share a stage together. Since the event is being filmed for a PBS documentary, it will take place at McKenna Theatre, October 4th, 3:30-5:30pm with a reception to follow. If you would like to bring your class to the event, let me know and we'll reserve seats for you up front.
October 4th in McKenna Hall from 3:30-5:30
